ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Yiyao Nie.

 

I'm an interactive media designer and a creative technologist originated from china, now residing in New York.

​

I started studying Digital Media Technology at Zhejiang University in 2013. During my study at Zhejiang University, I was selected to participate in and received a scholarship from the Simon Fraser University - Zhejiang University Exchange Program in Canada (2015). I took courses from departments of IAT(Interactive Art and Technology) and CS (Computer Science) during my exchange study in Canada.

After several years study on technology, design and art, I gradually found out my way to balance them and to fuse them together into my work.

I am currently a new student at ITP, Tisch, NYU. It's a new journey for me and I'm quite looking forwarding to engaging in this amazing community.
